Carlo Ancelotti sentenced to a year in prison by the Spanish Court for Tax Fraud

A Spanish court sentenced Brazilian coach Carlo Ancelotti to a one-year prison sentence on Wednesday because he did not pay tax on his income from image rights when he was Real Madrid manager in 2014, the Madrid court said in a statement.

Spanish law is such that every sentence under two years for a non -violent crime requires a defendant without earlier convictions to serve imprisonment.
