CDT Day 45: The Butterfly House

Without realizing that I was there until I was just a few miles from the road, I was pleasantly surprised to find the shelter of the butterfly house in Garfield, co to be artistic and welcoming, complete with a disco ball and a lava lamp. It was pleasant to see an adequate refueling box again, and between that box and a little leftover food of the shelter I had my complete replenishment. There is no need to go to tender or exit, although the altitude seemed a bit when combined with the pressure of the thunderstorms. I had taken a full hour to consume breakfast this morning, even having to drink a little to go. Really only altitude, heat or stomach insect keep my hunger for hikers at this time.

It was the silver tesla as a boy, California, which picked me up after waiting for almost an hour to take a walk to Monarch Pass. I obtained my photo with the fun division poster there and continued towards Garfield. Around half of one of the great righteous there was an older man in a large rolling house, and we began to chat. His RV had collapsed, and we talked about the succulent in his window that he was in honor of his wife, and how he was traveling full time in his RV now. I told him how my dad had told my mother to look for the butterflies, so I made sure to get my picture of Monarch Pass. He had not spoken with the three years and was disbelief that people did such a thing. In a short time the dark clouds began to descend, it began to rain and although it invited me to escape, I wanted to return to the shelter and dinner.

He began to greet and thunder was noisy, so I ran along the way. I am not one to have a casual ray if you are so close and I can do it by relatively fast danger. A couple of kilometers later, I returned to the monarch Lodge, again one of the only clients. I delighted in silence and I saw the rain fall.

I will take the rainbow appearing on the return walk like a good omen.

Upon arriving again at the shelter, there was a Thruhiker from Sedona (one from Colorado Sendel). «You are really at the end of CDT hikers, I’ve been passing a lot of them, but the bubble has worked,» he said. Already, I know, I understand it, I am not the fashion hiker who leads the package. That seems to be fashionable. My mileage and my time are in pace to finish and I am enjoying myself. I’ve never been one to try to fit, and I’m not starting now. There is a reason why it could never be an influencer. After taking a dip in the hydromassage bathtub and enjoying the range of the moon, I climbed the stairs to stretch and get off for the bed. With a dangerous climate warning full of thunderstorms throughout the week, I had to be ready for the university peaks that are coming.
