CDT JOY: Entering the San Juans

Day 93: 17.5 miles

Highlights: Leaving Lake City. High point of the Colorado Trail.

Overnight I slept at the Matterhorn Motel with the window open. There was no air conditioning in the room and it was very hot compared to the nights I spent in the tent. It was in the 30s overnight and I enjoyed going from sleeping on top of the blankets to snuggling under the sheets and a blanket.
