I started the morning by waking up before my alarm at 5:50 am, still labeled «PCT.» I left around 6:30am after packing up my tent and packing my life back into my backpack. I have come to enjoy the process and find the system more enjoyable than arduous.
The trail left Twilight Camp on a 4×4 track that had a view of trees that seem to cover hills like moss. It was so dense and lush that the photographs didn’t seem to do it justice, so I gave up and kept walking. …
