The Chihuahuan Desert blew me away.
I wasn’t sure what to expect on the first few miles of the CDT, but I anticipated dust, thorns, and heat. I’ve been lucky enough to hike some truly amazing places around the world, but the New Mexico pass between the border and Lordsburg was surreal.
