Emam Ashour’s first international goal helped Egypt hold Belgium to a draw in their 2026 FIFA World Cup Group G match at Seattle Stadium on Monday.
The Al Ahly winger opened the scoring in the 19th minute to give the Pharaohs the lead, but Mohamed Hany’s unfortunate own goal midway through the second half allowed the Red Devils to share the spoils.
This was Egypt’s first point at the World Cup in 13,147 days.
