FIFA World Cup 2026: Colombia’s last training before the match against Congo was suspended due to storms


Colombia’s final training for the World Cup match against Congo was suspended on Monday due to a storm.

Colombian players were practicing at a training center in Guadalajara when they were told to take shelter.

They had practiced for less than thirty minutes when the session had to be interrupted. The players ended the session in a gym, the Colombian football federation said.

Congo practiced in the United States in the morning before traveling to Guadalajara later Monday.

It will be the second match in Group K for both teams. Colombia opened with a 3-1 win over Uzbekistan, while Congo played to a 1-1 draw with Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal.
