The group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup concluded on Saturday with all 32 teams competing for the knockouts.
The Round of 32 will feature a number of heavyweight bouts, none bigger than the match between Portugal and Croatia in Toronto on July 3.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal, Spain, Germany and France are all on the same side of the competition and could potentially meet in the next rounds.
DR Congo also qualified for the knockouts, joining fellow first-timers in Canada, South Africa, Cape Verde and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
