Kai Havertz hit a brace, while there were six different goalscorers to help Julian Nagelsmann’s side get off to an emphatic start.
Felix Nmecha, Nico Schlotterbeck, Jamal Musiala, Nathaniel Brown and Deniz Undav also got their names on the scoresheet.
Livano Comenencia scored Curacao’s first-ever goal at the World Cup when he leveled the scores in the 21st minute before Germany steamrolled the island nation.
