What do you blog about for a zero? Do you care about maintenance parts? Let me know and I can combine them in the future, although some zeroes are planned.
The motel I stayed at was essential to my three key needs: electricity (Dollar General), food (Diner), and a pharmacy (Walgreens). As an added bonus, the UPS store was from Walgreens. I need to send home the damn sturdy socks. Heavy duty socks just don’t work for hiking (for me).
The restaurant serves three egg and cheese omelettes for about $10, which is pretty good these days. After an omelet for lunch, I stop by Dollar General to restock a bit. The injury has created a void in my eating plan. Protein potatoes and grated cheese fill that void. I currently love this meal option because of the high amount of protein and calories.
I mainly rested in my zero. Blogging and reading fill my day between meals. Walgreens and UPS shipping took minimal time, most of it was spent on one or two knee pads. I decided on two. If one knee becomes stressed, the other will not be far behind.
When the day was over, I treated myself to Beef Bulgogi and went to bed.
