Today we start with two small climbs, and then the trail becomes flatter. The terrain looks a little different; Dry, red and less leafy sand. PK is from California and tells us that it is the same as there.
Much of the group got carried away with Facilikate and Mixer yesterday. They are staying in an Airbnb in Glasgow. They invited us to stay there tonight, splitting the expenses. Doesn’t sound so bad! But the meeting is at 4:30 pm, so today we’re going to hit the miles. Sometimes a little too fast…
Not even a fall can kill PK’s spirit.
When we reached the junction towards Glasgow, we met Radiant Nut again. I had watermelon! It’s such a nice treat on a hot day like this. It’s not very foldable, but it’s worth it. While enjoying this amazing fruit, I looked down and saw a tick stuck on my knee. This is the first time I have had to remove ticks. I’ll be keeping an eye on him.

After Mixer picked us up and we went to the supermarket to buy some snacks and more watermelon. We went to the Airbnb, freshened up, and put on karaoke on the TV. Great night!
