The 2025-2026 Indian Super League title will be decided on the final day as Mohun Bagan Super Giant and arch-rivals East Bengal played out a 1-1 draw at the Salt Lake Stadium on Sunday.
The result puts both Kolkata giants on 23 points, while East Bengal occupy the top spot thanks to a better goal difference. Bengaluru FC also has the same number of points, after playing one more match.
How can East Bengal win ISL?
East Bengal can secure its maiden title if they manage to beat Inter Kashi in the final match on May 21, and Mohun Bagan fails to beat SC Delhi by a big margin on the same day.
If East Bengal fails to win its last match, Mohun Bagan will have to drop points and the match between Punjab and Mumbai City will end in a draw.
