India started their AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 campaign with a 1-2 defeat to Vietnam in a Group C match at the Perth Rectangular Stadium in Australia on Wednesday.
Midfielder Van Su bagged a brace for the winning side, while Meghalaya youngster Sanfida Nongrum scored the only goal for the Blue Tigresses.
