Indian referee Riiohlang Dar will officiate at the Women’s Under-20 World Cup

Indian referee Riiohlang Dar has been selected as the match official for the upcoming FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup starting on September 5 in Poland.

Her appointment marks the second time Dar has been selected to participate in a FIFA World Cup.

In 2024, the 36-year-old referee from Meghalaya became only the second woman after Uvena Fernandes to have the honor of officiating a World Cup when she was selected as part of the 38-member referee panel for the FIFA U-17 Womens World Cup that year.
