ISL 2025-26: Bengaluru FC desperate for victory against relegation-threatened Odisha FC

Bengaluru FC will be aiming for nothing less than a win when they meet Odisha FC in the Indian Super League 2025-26 match at the Fatorda Stadium in Margao, Goa, on Monday.

The match, which was originally to be played in Bhubaneswar, was shifted to Goa due to maintenance work at the Kalinga Stadium.

BFC have seen their title chances diminish in recent weeks after collecting just two points from their previous three matches. The Pep Munoz-coached team are sixth in the table with 16 points, five behind leaders Jamshedpur FC, and have just three games left in the season.

“We are only focused on the next match and we want to win all the remaining matches,” Munoz said before the match. “It’s (position in the table) not something we’re talking about in the dressing room at the moment.”

Odisha is languishing at 13th place with just six points and a single win in the entire campaign. Mohammedan SC are at the last spot with three points from ten matches and Odisha will be hoping for a positive result to ensure they do not get caught up in a relegation battle.
