Jordan reached its first-ever FIFA World Cup after beating Oman 3-0 in the Asian qualifiers, continuing its impressive run at global level.
The Chivalrous Ones stunned the football community when they reached the Asian Cup final for the first time two years ago and will be hoping they can repeat a similar run at the World Cup. The attack will be led by experienced duo Musa Al-Taamari, also known as the ‘Jordanian Messi’, and Ali Olwan, Jordan’s highest goalscorer in the current squad.
Jordan has been drawn in Group J, alongside defending champions Argentina, Algeria and Austria, and will open his campaign against the Austrians on June 16.
