The Indian Club Licensing System is crucial for maintaining the quality, professionalism and infrastructure of football clubs in India.
It is an annual process through which clubs acquire the necessary license to compete in AFC and national club competitions for each season. These licenses are divided into ‘Premier 1’ for clubs from the Indian Super League and ‘Premier 2’ for clubs from the Indian Football League.
