The Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 title race will be on the line when East Bengal take on Mohun Bagan Super Giant at the Salt Lake Stadium on Sunday.
Both East Bengal and Mohun Bagan – second and third respectively with 22 points – will know that a win will help them lift the trophy heading into the final match of the season.

And for the first time since East Bengal moved to the ISL, the country will hold its lead ahead of a derby in Kolkata. But while injury problems have been minimal for East Bengal this season, new concerns emerged before the ‘Boro’ match with Saul Crespo and Naorem Mahesh Singh, two of the club’s captains, out injured, while another captain, Souvik Chakrabarti, is suspended.
