Mud. Today’s word is mud. Funny how I walked through more mud today than in Vermont (nicknamed vermud). Of course, these things don’t follow state borders. I imagined the mud was something like low ground. No. The hills were mud, the hilltops were mud… well, except for Smarts Mountain.
