Nigerian Squad for Unity Cup 2026 – Full List of Players; Ndidi is likely to lead Super Falcons

Nigeria has named a 27-member squad for Unity 2026, which will be played in Britain between May 26 and 30. The Super Falcons will face Zimbabwe in the first match, while the winner will face either Jamaica or Zimbabwe in the final.

The Unity Cup is a friendly tournament outside the international framework of FIFA and is played by countries with a large diaspora in the United Kingdom. All matches of the 2026 edition will be played at The Valley, home of Charlton Athletic.

Nigeria has gone to the tournament with a selection from the second series, because they will also play against Poland and Portugal in the following international period. In the Unity Cup squad, Wilfred Ndidi is the only big name, with the former Leicester City midfielder now plying his trade for Besiktas.

Ndidi is likely to lead the Super Falcons in the tournament as he has previously captained the national team.
