France and Paris Saint-Germain’s Ousmane Dembele won the Ballon d’Or 2025 Award in Paris on Monday.
The 28-year-old Dembele, an attacker, had an unforgettable season 2024-2025 with PSG because he scored 35 goals and made 16 assists in 53 performances for the French club. PSG won Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, a very first UEFA Champions League title, UEFA Super Cup and finished second at the FIFA Club World Cup.
Dembele is the sixth Frenchman after Raymond Kopa (1958), Michel Platini (1983-85), Jean-Pierre Papin (1991), Zinedine Zidane (1998) and Karim Benzema (2022) to win the prestigious prize.
