Spain’s Salma Paralluelo will leave Barcelona after her contract expired on Tuesday, the Catalan giants said.
The 22-year-old attacker has been an important part of Barcelona’s success in recent seasons and won the World Cup with Spain in 2023.
«She leaves Barcelona having scored 72 goals in the 131 matches she has played, and having become… one of the most complete players in the world,» Barcelona said in a statement.
Paralluelo struck twice in the Champions League final as Barca defeated Lyon in May to win the competition for the fourth time in six years.
The winger claimed three and four league titles from a total of 15 trophies in four years at the club after joining from Villarreal.
Earlier this summer, two-time Ballon d’Or winner Alexia Putellas announced her departure to join London City Lionesses.
Center back Mapi Leon is expected to make the same move, while full-back Ona Batlle will move to Arsenal.
Winger Caroline Graham Hansen is also out of contract but is expected to stay at Barca, along with coach Pere Romeu who signed a new contract until 2028.
