Paris Saint-Germain is in talks with Bundesliga club RB Leipzig to buy Ivory Coast striker Yan Diomande, a source close to the matter said AFP.
The 19-year-old has told the German club he wants to join the French giants, and the two clubs have started negotiations after Diomande, who is under contract with Leipzig until 2030, told PSG management he was «very keen» to sign for the reigning European champions this summer, the source said.
His arrival would also likely see the departure of Portuguese forward Gonçalo Ramos to AC Milan, with PSG having agreed a deal with the Italian team, the source said.
Born in Abidjan, Diomande spent a few months at Spanish club Leganes in 2025 and then in La Liga, playing one season for Leipzig and scoring 12 goals in the Bundesliga.
The arrival of the striker, who is preparing for Ivory Coast’s last-32 World Cup match against Norway on Tuesday, would mark PSG’s first major move in this summer’s transfer window.

The deal with Ramos is valued at around 74 million euros, the source said, but could rise to 90 million euros with bonuses. The club did not respond when contacted AFP.
Ramos spent three years at PSG, where he won three French league titles, two domestic cups and two Champions League titles.
After arriving in the French capital from Benfica, he failed to establish himself as a regular starter in Spanish coach Luis Enrique’s setup, playing in the shadows of Kylian Mbappé and later Ousmane Dembele.
He did not start a single Champions League match for PSG this season.
Nevertheless, his performances off the bench were often productive, with 45 goals across three seasons and 131 appearances in all competitions.
