Real Kashmir FC ended the 2025-26 Indian Football League season on a winning note after beating Aizawl FC 2-1 in their relegation stage match at the Deccan Arena in Hyderabad on Monday.

Christian Moses and Junior Traore scored from the spot in the first and second half respectively to guide the Snow Leopards to three points, while Laltalzova got on the scoresheet for Aizawl.

With the win, Real Kashmir ends up as the top-placed team in the relegation stage with 14 points, while Aizawl remains one place below with 11 points.

Both teams approached the match with attacking intent from the start, pressing aggressively and trying to move the ball quickly through transitions. With relegation safety already assured for both sides, the match was played at a high pace with little hesitation in possession.

Aizawl tried to create openings through Vanlalhriatzuala K and Eric Remruatpuia Chhangte on the flanks, while Real Kashmir responded by repeatedly running Ahteeb Ahmad Dar and Moses down the flanks in search of early deliveries into the box.
