Rest day in Caernarfon – The Trek

Day 23: Rest day in Caernarfon

Rest days are all about rest. Which sometimes includes a break from blogging. Here is a brief summary and some photos of our day in Caernarfon.

The Castle

We did the self-guided tour. I climbed steep circular stone stairs to 120-foot towers. He stood on the walls. He looked through the turrets. Read exhibits on kings, Wales, England, Romans and more. I probably retained very little of what I read. We give the go-ahead to the visit to the castle.

snap

He checked that box too. There are no photos though.

Clothing collection

Another check on our list. Clean, folded and tidy. Well done, Pete.

Big feet. Little steps.

choir concert

Our B&B host informed us about a free evening choral concert by Côr Meibion Caernarfon, a local men’s choir that performs almost entirely in Welsh. Technically it was a rehearsal where the public was welcome. Very cool.

It was a full day. Tomorrow it will be more crowded. 😉
