Jeon Jin-Woo has withdrawn from the South Korean team because of dizziness, before their opening match against China in the East Asian Football Federation (EFF) E-1 football championship on July 7.
The midfielder of Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors had achieved the national team after he picked up a goal and one assist in his first two caps earlier this month, against Kuwait and Iraq respectively.
He is also the most important scorer in the current 2025 K-League 1, with 12 goals in 19 performances.
However, he will now be replaced by Seoul FC midfielder Jeong Seung-Won has replaced him in the team.
Seung-Won, part of the U23 Asian Cup-winning team of South Korea in 2020, will receive its first call-up for the national team. He won the South Korean cup with Daegu FC in 2018 and can play both as a midfielder and a wing-back.
