I can’t believe it’s the first day of week six on the road. It doesn’t seem that long. Today was a second day of rest.
Route report
This morning’s church service was exactly what I needed. The congregation was very friendly. The sermon focused on knowing and fulfilling God’s will for your life. I am confident that I am exactly where God wants me to be today.
He spent most of the day sitting on the front porch. I even took a two hour nap this afternoon. I also faced time with my family, and that was a special moment. Today is my youngest son’s birthday. Happy birthday Benjamin!
Thought of the day
Neville forms a gratitude circle before dinner each night. Everyone has to say something they are grateful for.
Today I thanked all the people I had the privilege of meeting and interacting with along the way. It has been a blessing for me.
people i met
I met SEAL today. It was great talking to him after dinner, even though he graduated from Ohio State – LOL! I also met Shotgun. He will head south from Daleville starting tomorrow. I hope to see you again in a couple of days.
