Warm-up schedule for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Morocco: full list of matches

Morocco has confirmed it will play three warm-up matches before next month’s 2026 FIFA World Cup, giving the new coach more playing time with his squad.

Morocco, which was a surprise semi-finalist at the World Cup in Qatar four years ago, appointed Mohamed Ouahbi as coach in March after the resignation of Walid Regragui.

Ouahbi has only had two games since taking over: a draw against Ecuador and a win over Paraguay just weeks after taking office.

Warm-up schedule for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Morocco

Morocco vs Burundi – May 26 (Morocco training center, sale)

Morocco vs. Madagascar – June 2 (Morocco training center, sale)

Morocco vs. Norway – June 7 (Basking Ridge, New Jersey)

The Moroccan Football Federation said the team will play Burundi behind closed doors at the training center in Sale on May 26, before the match against Madagascar takes place in Rabat on June 2, where supporters can send off the team.

Once they arrive in the United States, where their base camp will be in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, the Moroccans will conclude their preparations with a match against Norway on June 7 in New York.

Morocco is expected to start preparations on May 22 but does not plan to announce its squad until a week later, according to reports.

Morocco will play Brazil in the World Cup in Group C on June 13 in New York, Scotland against Scotland on June 19 in Boston and Haiti on June 24 in Atlanta.
