Croatia will take on Ghana in the final Group L match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup at the New York/New Jersey Stadium on Saturday.
Croatia are currently third in the group with three points and a goal difference of -1. It places them seventh on the third-placed team’s points table, from which the top eight advance.
If Croatia wants to qualify, it will have to avoid defeat against the Ghanaians. While a win will see them through as one of the top two teams in Group L, a draw will qualify them as one of the top eight teams.
If Croatia loses by a one-goal margin, they will need Algeria to lose to Austria and DR Congo not to win the match against Uzbekistan.
