Senegal and Belgium look set to play a penalty shootout on Wednesday to determine the winner of their 2026 FIFA World Cup round of 32 match in Seattle.
Goals from Habib Diarra and Ismaila Sarr put the Lions of Teranga in a comfortable position, but late goals from Romelu Lukaku and Youri Tielemans brought the game back on level terms.
It is now up to the two goalkeepers to take the initiative in the penalty shootout.
Senegal is represented by Mory Diaw, who replaces the injured Edouard Mendy. The 33-year-old has conceded 57 penalties in his career and made 10 saves, including one this season for Le Havre against champions Paris Saint-Germain.
