Manchester United have reached an agreement to sign Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos ahead of the 2026/27 Premier League season, British media report.
The 22-year-old Brazilian midfielder played 43 games for Chelsea last season and can play as both a defensive and central midfielder.
According to reports, the midfielder will cost Michael Carrick’s side £48 million, including an additional two million in add-ons.
Santos joined the London club from Brazilian Serie A side Vasco da Gama in 2023 after two seasons of playing senior football. He was loaned out to his first club, Nottingham Forest and Strasbourg, before returning to Chelsea after the 2024/25 season.
He made his Chelsea debut against Esperance Tunis in the FIFA Club World Cup, a competition the team won after beating Paris Saint-Germain 3–0 in the final.
Santos was capped six times by the Brazilian national team but was not part of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which saw the Selecao exit at the round of 16.
