Senegal will take on Iraq in a Group I match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Friday.
Both teams enter the match with zero points. However, both mathematically retain a chance to qualify as one of the eight best third-placed teams. For this, both Senegal and Iraq would need a big win to strengthen their goal difference.
