France has reached the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup for the third time in a row after beating Morocco 2-0 in the quarter-final at Boston Stadium on Thursday.

Kylian Mbappe had a penalty saved by Yassin Bounou in the first half, but made up for it by finding the back of the net from the edge of the penalty area in the 60th minute.

The lead was doubled six minutes later when Ousmane Dembele buried the ball into the bottom right corner from just outside the penalty area.

Who will face France in the 2026 FIFA World Cup semi-final?

France will face the winner of the second quarter-final between Spain and Belgium, which will be played at the Los Angeles Stadium on July 10.

If the country progresses, France could face Norway, England, Argentina or Switzerland in the final.
