Morocco vs Comoros LIVE streaming information: Where to watch the AFCON 2025 tournament opener?

Morocco will take on Comoros in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations tournament opener on Sunday, with the Atlas Lions hoping to lift the trophy on home soil.

“We are focused on the present because we have to win,” said Moroccan head coach Walid Regragui. «We are also preparing for the future, because there is 2026 and there is also 2030, and that way in 2030 they can have a top team with a wealth of experience. That is the goal I have. I work for myself, but I also work for the future of Morocco.»

Captain Achraf Hakimi has recovered from an ankle injury in time for the AFCON, both the player and Regragui confirmed on Saturday. Hakimi, the current African Footballer of the Year, is unlikely to start Sunday’s tournament opener against tiny Comoros, but Regragui said Hakimi could play if necessary.
