Wolverhampton Wanderers lost their sixteenth game this Premier League season, losing 1-2 to Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday.
The team led by Rob Edwards is at the bottom of the rankings, has only two points and has yet to win after eighteen games. This is the worst in the Premier League and goes beyond Sheffield United’s unconscionable 2020/21 record of remaining winless after 17 games.
It is already the first team to go ten games or more in consecutive seasons without a win. Wolves are also at risk of becoming the team with the lowest number of points in a Premier League season.
Currently, Derby County hold the disgraceful record with 11 points during the 2007/08 season.
