Rain is likely in Houston on June 16, and fans heading to the stadium or fan parks surrounding the venue should be prepared for isolated rain showers.

A tropical system is moving along the upper Texas Gulf Coast, according to the local weather forecast, which will continue to bring rainfall to the Houston metro area throughout Wednesday, with chances of localized flooding following more severe storms.

The highest precipitation totals are expected to remain closer to the immediate coastline.

However, in the stadium the chance of rain or thunder disrupting the match remains minimal, as the match takes place in a closed area.
