The Indian senior team defeated Hertha BSC Frauen in a friendly match at the S&B Sport Football Complex in Antalya on Monday.
Grace Dangmei scored the only goal of the match in the 37th minute to secure the victory. The match was part of the team’s ongoing preparatory camp in Turkiye ahead of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup in March.
India will next take on Russia’s Zvezda-2005 Perm on February 4, before taking on Romania’s FK Csíkszereda Miercurea Ciuc on February 7.
India had previously played two friendlies, losing 0-2 to Ukrainian side FC Metalist 1925 on January 18, before beating Swiss side FC Schlieren 2-1 on January 24.
The team will leave Turkiye for Perth, Australia on February 10, where it will play more friendly matches in the run-up to the continental tournament.
India’s first match of the Asian Cup is against Vietnam on March 4.
