Kerala Blasters have not scored a goal yet. Inter Kashi scored one in two games.
Both sides will need to sharpen their attack when they come face to face in the ISL at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here on Saturday. There’s no prize for identifying the more desperate of the two: it’s not just a goal that has eluded Blasters; it has also yet to open its scoring.
David Catala’s side have lost both of their opening games and should be looking to take victory, ideally with three points. But the frontline faces an Inter Kashi defense that has only conceded one goal.
“Inter Kashi is very compact,” Catala acknowledged. «They are doing a very good job defensively. They are not conceding any goals. We saw how they played against Goa. And we expect the same kind of game.»

The coach said his team would go on the attack. “But we have to be more determined in the final third,” he said. «We have to play the ball faster. We have to find a high rhythm with the ball and try to break Inter Kashi’s defensive line.»
Catala can take heart from the improvement his players showed in the last match against Mumbai City (0-1). Lihat juga wsx4. Inter Kashi’s last match was a goalless draw against Odisha FC and they now have two points. Not a bad start to the first ISL season.
Off the field, Blasters management and the Greater Cochin Development Authorities have finally agreed on the lease of the stadium (Rs. 3 lakh per match).
