After four days apart, I’m going on a hike to Erwin and seeing my dad again!
I’ve been hiking with Ferdinand and Chef again. At our lunch spot we met Dreamcatcher, another Trek blogger! Apparently his dad follows my blogs, which I think is cool. Hello dad from Dreamcathers!

Meeting time!
It’s also time to say hello to my own dad! We are walking towards Erwin. He has been recovering at Uncle Johnny’s shelter for the past four days. So, let’s go there.

It has gone well for him. Your knee is recovering, but you have to watch it and take care of it a little. Tomorrow is day zero, then we’ll see how it goes!
But first: a quick shower before the ferry leaves for the city. We went to the Red Fork restaurant for a well-deserved burger. We still had 15 minutes to resupply. But that wasn’t enough time for us. We will return tomorrow. We are very impressed with the purchasing speed of other hikers.
The rest of the day we relaxed, hung out and had a great time.
