Brazil beats Scotland to take first place in FIFA World Cup 2026 Group C; BRA vs SCO Player Ratings

Vinicius Junior’s brace helped Brazil to a 3-0 win over Scotland on Wednesday and ensured the team finished top of the Group C rankings of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Real Madrid winger took advantage of a defensive error by Scott McKenna to give his side the lead in the seventh minute. The winger had the ball in the net in the 22nd minute after stealing the ball from Jack Hendry, but VAR ruled he had tripped the defender.

The 25-year-old eventually scored his second goal in stoppage time of the first half, after heading in Bruno Guimaraes’ cross.
