He had joined the Shers in September 2022 after a short period with Gokulam Kerala. Majcen was also part of the Punjab FC team that became the first side to promote the ISL, what it did after winning the I-League of 2022-23.
That season he appeared as the Golden Boot winner and the player of the tournament after packaging 16 goals and three assists in 20 performances.
In Isl, Majcen had 23 goal contributions for two seasons.
The DHFC club will be the fourth team that plays in the competition after East Bengal, Mohun Bagan and Mohammedan Sporting, all playing in the Indian Super League (ISL).
