Why was Barcelona manager Hansi Flick banned for the next Champions League match?

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick and his assistant Marcus Sorg each have a fine of 20,000 euros ($ 23,320) a fine and forbidden for one match in UEFA Club matches for misconduct, said the disciplinary committee of the European football management body on Friday.

Flick had been furious with various referee decisions in the 4-3 semi-final loss of his side against Inter Milan in May, making it reached his first Champions League final in a decade.

The sanctions will immediately be in force and both men from the Dugout returned before the start of the Champions League of this season.
