Argentina, led by Lionel Messi, plays an international friendship in Kerala in November 2025, announced the Argentinian football club (AFA) on Friday.
The Friendly will be part of three games played in the FIFA window November, with The Albiceleste The other two games play in Luanda and Angola. The opponents in front of the window still have to be determined.
«The Argentinian national team, led by Lionel Scaloni, will have two FIFA -friendly windows in the rest of 2025,» said the AFA.
«The first, in October, from 6 to 14th, will be played in the United States (opponents and cities that are determined). The second, a FIFA friendly matches in November, from 10th to 18th, will be played in Luanda, Angola and Kerala, India (opponents to determine).»
The announcement – to have a competition in Kerala – comes as a delay for the state and the commercial partner of her government, Reporter Broadcasting Company, because Argentina had previously expressed doubts about coming to India this year.
Kerala’s Sportminister, V. Abdurahiman, had previously told the media in May that the Kerala team would not visit this year, while Reporter Broadcasting Company had threatened the Argentina camp with legal steps if the Tour did not take place this year.
