Havertz Injury Update: Arsenal Star at the World Cup qualifications of Miss Germany in September

Arsenal -attacker Kai Havertz will miss the world cup qualifications of Germany next month against Slovenia and Noord -Ireland, said Rudi Voeller, director of the German Football Federation (DFB) national team director.

Havertz has been sidelined since he sustained an injury during a 1-0 Premier League victory in Manchester United earlier this month, and was absent when Arsenal defeated Leeds United at the weekend.

«He will certainly not make it, he has a knee injury. We do not know exactly how it will go in the coming weeks, whether an operation will be on whether it will be treated conservatively,» Voeller told the German media on Monday.

Arsenal -Manager Mikel Arteta said more time last week and tests were needed to get clarity about Havertz’s injury.

Havertz, 26, was also sidelined for more than three months after a hamstring injury in February.

Arsenal signed on Saturday to Ebereechi Eze to strengthen their attack in the absence of Havertz and Gabriel Jesus, who are still returning since last season sustained a front cruciate ligament injury.
