Manchester City Full-back Nico O’Reilly has received a first call-up to the Senior Squad of England for his upcoming matches against Wales and Latvia.
O’Reilly comes in the side instead of Chelsea Full-back Reece James, who has withdrawn from the team due to injury. James played in Chelsea’s last victory over Liverpool on Saturday, but has since been withdrawn from the Thomas Tuchel team.
O’Reilly, who broke into the Manchester City last season, was initially mentioned in the U-9 team, but has now been called up for the senior team.
England is planned for Wales in Wembley on October 9, before he records in Riga in Riga on October 14 in the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualification match. England currently has a perfect record in his world cup qualifications, with five victories from five games.
