Barcelona could win its second La Liga title in a row this weekend if they beat Osasuna and Real Madrid drop points against Espanyol.
Barcelona leads Madrid by 11 points with five games to go. If Hansi Flick’s side win in Osasuna on Saturday, Madrid must also beat Espanyol on Sunday to keep the title race alive for at least one more round.
If everything goes according to Barcelona’s wishes, it will host Real Madrid in the Clasico in the next round as the newly crowned champions.
Flick is on the cusp of a third major title in two years with Barcelona, including the 2025 Copa del Rey, while Madrid face a second straight season without a major trophy.
Barcelona has run away with the domestic title race. They have won nine games in a row in La Liga, with their only recent setback coming against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals.
However, Barcelona cannot expect an easy performance in Pamplona.
Ninth-placed Osasuna have lost just twice in El Sadar this season and are unbeaten in their last ten home games.

Madrid, meanwhile, have won just one of their last six games in all competitions as they head towards the end of a disappointing season. Xabi Alonso has already been sacked and, barring a drastic turn of events, Alvaro Arbeloa is also expected to leave in the off-season.
Espanyol is in an even deeper rut than Madrid.
The side were ranked fifth at the start of 2026 but have yet to win this year and have endured a 16-game winless streak that has dragged them into the group of teams battling to avoid relegation.
Atletico Madrid play in Valencia on Saturday before Diego Simeone’s side visit Arsenal next week, where the Champions League semi-final is in focus after a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
