The goalkeeper suffered a torn muscle fiber in his left calf in the Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen on Saturday, where the Bavarians won 3-0.

The injury was confirmed after a detailed assessment by Bayern’s medical department.
Defending champions Bayern Munich currently top the standings with 57 points from 22 games – a six-point lead over second-placed Borussia Dortmund.
