The quarter-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be played with six European teams competing for the top prize together with title holders Argentina and African champions Morocco.
France will take on Morocco at the Boston Stadium on July 9.
With the expanded format, teams have had to go through an extra phase – the Round of 32 – and fatigue has caught up with a number of players, who are at risk of missing their respective last 8 matches.
