Steve Clarke’s men could seal their place in the Round of 32 with a win over Brazil, taking their points tally to six.
A draw against Brazil will also give Scotland a good chance of making the knockouts, most likely as one of the top eight teams in third place.
Scotland will take on Brazil in their final group match at the Miami Stadium on June 24.
In their previous eight World Cup appearances, Scotland never progressed beyond the group stage.
