Midfielder Anirudh Thapa returned to the Indian squad after almost two years away as Khalid Jamil named his 28-man squad for the Unity Cup later this month in London, England.
India will take on Jamaica on May 27 and Nigeria or Zimbabwe on May 30 as Jamil prepares his core group for the next World Cup/Asian Cup qualifying campaign.
Promising striker Suhail Ahmed Bhat also got a call-up after making his debut in the senior team in 2025.
